Join us at McMenamin's Edgefield for our second annual full-day event centered around PLAY! The event will be an opportunity for learning and reflection for early childhood educators working to foster play-based learning in their environments. For 2019, we are excited to welcome Heather Shumaker, the author of It's OK NOT to Share and Other Renegade Rules for Raising Competent and Compassionate Kids. Topics include:

  • Respecting Children's "Renegade Rights"

  • Extraordinary Art

  • Offering the Right Risks in a Sometimes Scary World

  • Wild Emotions

  • Unforgettable and Authentic Experiences for Young Children

Receive up to 8 hours of set two training hours while you enjoy networking with other passionate "play believers"! Breakfast, lunch buffet, and afternoon refreshments included.

Event will be held in Edgefield's Blackberry Hall. Event registration and breakfast opens at 7:30 AM; training event runs from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm.
